Hilda Solis Constituent Recognition Event, Jan. 15, 2019
Supervisor Hilda Solis, recognized her local constituents who attend the Dec. 10, 2018 Interfaith march in San Diego at the border and detention center. We pray and protest to stop breaking up families, children belong with their parents. At the San Diego border Children are in one area and parents in another, this is sad in and on American Soil. Kids are dying this is unacceptable.
One of the protests was a blind woman with a crane she was praying and accidentally stepped over the restricted line in the sand and the Border Patrol arrested her and another woman accidentally touched the another Border Patrol Officer on the shoulder, she was arrested for assault and battery. These Border Patrol was wearing heavy tackle automatic 45 raffles plus. Someone say NAACP and Claremont United Church of Christ on Facebook protesting in San Diego and sent them to Hilda, so we were invited to Tuesday Board Meeting and reception.
